‘AgricultHER’ School by Peace Country beef & forage association
Join us for a guided farm tour discussing holistic farm management practices on a private farm near Goodfare, Alberta before heading to the Demmitt Hall for an informative and interactive afternoon delivered through multiple keynote speakers and a mini workshop focusing on farm finances, soil, livestock & mental health. Lunch & supper provided.
Farm Tour Topics include the Peace Region Living Labs, as we tour a Core Producer Site, as well as various grazing and holistic farm management practices guided by Bluesette Campbell focusing on Grazing Techniques, Soil Health and Riparian Management.
Following this, we will travel to the beautiful Demmitt Hall for lunch, interractive activities and several speakers focusing on Mental Health, Farm Management and Herd Health with Emerson Trail Veterinary Services as well as a Mini Workshop with Bluesette. To conclude, we will enjoy supper and door prizes.
Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking space at the private farm.

2024 Western Poultry Conference
The Western Poultry Conference is an initiative with the support of Egg Farmers of Alberta, Alberta Chicken Producers, Alberta Hatching Egg Producers, and Alberta Turkey Producers to provide education and training opportunities for poultry farmers in Alberta and across Western Canada. A dedicated group of volunteers from the government, poultry boards, industry, and producers works together to develop top-quality Western Poultry Conference programs with high-caliber scientific and producer speakers to support farmers in implementing new or updated ideas and techniques on their farms.

The Planning Committee is driven to seek out dynamic speakers who understand the various avenues that lead to healthy and family-friendly communities. This conference is the highlight of the year for us, and we work hard to ensure that all delegates enjoy an insightful and relevant program.
ACCPA membership comprises urban and rural representation, police and government agencies, community groups, and
Indigenous and Metis groups. The annual conference features both urban and rural streams.

Wheatland FCSS 2024 Women’s Conference
Theme: Nurturing Our Roots
The Women's Conference is held bi-annually to provide women with knowledge and a chance to socialize all while having a fun day to themselves. Our planning committee has prepared a day full of informative and interactive sessions, a wide variety of local vendors to shop from and a delicious lunch. Local Author, Photographer and Speaker - Billi J. Miller - is our keynote speaker.
Each year the conference is held, FCSS anticipates 100 women to be in attendance. According to Gaudet, the conference generally sees between 50 and 100 people attending.
Tickets for the conference are available at the Wheatland FCSS county office, as well as the Vault Cultural Collective.
