TALK ABOUT IT
Counselling is available to all Albertans outside the City of Calgary for a low cost and is
subsidized by the Province.
Counselling Alberta is a division of Calgary Counselling Centre that provides virtual counselling across Alberta. This expansion of services outside Calgary is made possible through a partnership between the Government of Alberta and Calgary Counselling Centre to address the growing need for mental health services in the province.
If you are interested in learning more about Counselling Alberta, please visit the Counselling Alberta website at counsellingalberta.com. The website provides information on how to register for counselling and the counselling experience. There is an online registration form that can be found on the website and is accessible 24/7. If preferred, folks can call 1-833-827-4230 and an Intake member will be happy to assist individuals in the registration process. Our phone lines are open from (9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm) Monday to Friday. We have a large, highly trained counselling team that utilizes a variety of approaches when working with clients, and are able to support folks interested in individual, couple or family counselling.
Intakes are assigned to the skilled members of our Counselling Alberta team on the same day that they are processed. The assigned counsellor will reach out on the same day as assignment. Same-day virtual appointments are available when necessary.
EASECARE services are covered by ALBERTA HEALTH CARE FOR ALL Alberta residents.
One of AgKnow’s key missions is to increase the accessibility of mental health services for rural residents across the province by helping to remove potential barriers to care. To help support this mission, we are excited to share with you our new collaboration with EaseCare Medical.
