This is a 10-week accredited course delivered virtually that has been running since 2018, and has proven success with families coping with mood related disorders or substance related challenges.

About the Presenter

Mona Cooley

Over 25 years of experience as a Facilitator, Educator, Family Coach, Program Developer and Peer Support Specialist to provide a holistic, family-driven solution for families to process conflict resolution and learn successful coping strategies. Deep understanding of response strategies to challenging behaviors, optimistic and patient. Solid comprehension of mental health issues, family dynamics, coping strategies and anger management skills. Superb capacity to utilize independent judgment, maintain integrity and perceive underlying issues. Able to maintain objectivity in a high-intensity environment, excellent coping and anger management strategies. In-depth experiential knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. Effective in training/mentoring support staff and family coaching. Charismatic, enthusiastic coach with an immense ability to relate to and instruct families in crisis. Extensive working knowledge of basic social work principles and values.
