We are committed to generating new knowledge, and supporting the adoption of programs and services that impact the mental health of farmers, their families and those in the agricultural community. Our current projects include:

free counselling SESSIONS

As part of a Pilot Project, farmers and their family members can receive free counselling sessions from a mental health professional in our network who understands farming and the stresses faced in agriculture.

FARM MENTAL
HEALTH NEEDS

Using evidence-based approaches to understand the mental health and well-being of farmers, farm families and the agricultural community to ensure our programs are tailored to their unique needs on issues important to them, such as succession planning and farm-animal epidemics.

COMMUNITY & PEER SUPPORTS

Reaching out to service providers across the province to understand gaps in care, identify best practices, and build a strong network of individuals committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of those in farming communities.
